I’m not your stock-standard “everyone look at the camera and say cheese” photographer. My family sessions are relaxed, playful and focused on the little moments that actually make your family your family.
We’ll let the kids explore, run around, play, cuddle, climb, laugh and be themselves while I follow along with my camera. I’ll give you a little direction when you need it, and I’ll absolutely make sure we get that one beautiful posed family photo too - but after that, we’re just going to have fun.
Think of it less like a photoshoot and more like hanging out together for an hour… except I’m chasing you around with a camera.

Couples
Forget the awkward “stand here and smile at each other” photographs.
I want to photograph the way you actually love each other.
Whether that means walking hand-in-hand, laughing until you forget I’m there, cuddling on the beach, chasing each other around or simply enjoying being together - I’ll be there to capture it.
I’ll give you a little direction when you need it, but most of the session is about forgetting the camera is even there and just spending some time together.
I’m all about the candid moments, the in-between moments and the little things you might not even realise you do until you see them in photographs.
Of course, I’ll make sure we get at least one beautiful posed photograph too. But then? We’re just going to have fun.

At Home Lifestyle
There’s something really special about photographs taken where your family actually lives.
Bare feet, messy hair, morning cuddles, kids jumping on the couch, making breakfast, reading stories, newborn snuggles, dancing around the kitchen — all those ordinary little things that you don’t realise you’ll one day desperately want to remember.
My at-home lifestyle sessions are completely relaxed and documentary-inspired. I’m not going to turn your home into a studio or make everyone stand perfectly still.
Instead, I’ll hang out with you, let you go about your normal routines and capture the little moments as they naturally happen.
Your house does not need to be spotless. Your kids do not need to behave perfectly. And you definitely don’t need to have a Pinterest-worthy home.
It’s your real life - and that’s exactly what I want to photograph.

Maternity & Motherhood
This is where my heart really is.
I LOVE maternity and motherhood photography. I love the rawness of it, the anticipation, the connection, the tiny details and the beautiful, messy reality of becoming a mother and being a mother.
I don’t want your photographs to just show what you looked like while you were pregnant. I want them to show how it felt.
Whether it’s the quiet moments between you and your partner, your hands resting on your growing belly, your little ones loving on their mum, or those completely unplanned moments that happen in between — these are the photographs I live for.
My sessions are relaxed and natural, with a little direction from me when you need it. You absolutely do not need to know how to pose. That’s my job.
And yes, I’ll get some gorgeous posed photographs too - but your gallery will mainly be filled with movement, connection and those candid little moments that feel like you.

Newborns

Those tiny fingers. The sleepy stretches. The scrunched-up faces. The newborn cuddles you swear you’ll never forget.
Newborn photography is all about slowing down and remembering those first precious days with your baby.
My newborn sessions are relaxed, gentle and completely baby-led. We don’t need to rush through a list of poses - if baby needs a feed, a cuddle, a nappy change or simply some time to settle, we take it.
I have completed a newborn posing and safety course with Mel Cieslik, so you can feel confident that your little one is being photographed with their safety and comfort as my absolute priority.
I’ll guide you through everything we need to do, while allowing plenty of time for cuddles and those beautiful natural moments.
And if your baby decides they absolutely do NOT want to cooperate? That’s okay too. We’ll work around them.

Births & Fresh 48
There are some moments in life that can never be recreated.
The first cry. The moment you finally meet your baby. Your partner’s face when they see them for the first time. The tiny details, the overwhelming emotions, the tears, the laughter and everything in between. The raw moments just 48 hours within your new bundle of joy's life too.
Birth and Fresh 48 photography is about preserving those moments exactly as they happened.
My approach is calm, respectful and documentary-focused. I’m there to quietly capture the story unfolding around you rather than taking over the room or turning your birth into a photoshoot.
You can focus on bringing your baby earthside while I focus on preserving the moments you may not even notice happening around you. Or alternatively I can meet you the day after for a Fresh 48 session.
Important information
Before booking your birth or fresh 48 photography session, please speak with your midwife or obstetrician (for birth) and your hospital (for both fresh 48 and birth) and receive permission for professional photography.
Hospital and medical staff policies vary, and permission must be confirmed before your booking is secured.
