Hey, I’m Chenin.
I’m a self-taught photographer, mum of two, and the person behind Outback & Sea Photography.
I’m drawn to the messy, honest and beautiful parts of life - the windblown hair, belly laughs, little hands, quiet glances and the moments you didn’t even realise were happening.
My photography is documentary at heart. I want your photos to feel like you, rather than look overly posed or perfect.
I’m still relatively new to this world, but photography has completely changed my life. What started with an old camera and a whole lot of figuring-it-out has grown into something I’m incredibly proud to call my business.
Now, from Victor Harbor and across South Australia, I get to preserve little pieces of people’s lives for them - and honestly, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. 🤍

What to know
SESSION DETAILS
Your gallery is included. Every good image.
I don’t believe in making you choose your favourite 5-10 photographs and then charging you extra for the rest.
All the good images from your session are included in your session price. There are no hidden image fees, no surprise costs and no expensive upgrades afterwards.
The prices you see listed are the prices you pay.
Your session
Sessions are booked for up to one hour, although most of my sessions only take around 40 minutes.
I’ll guide you when you need it, but I’m primarily interested in the candid, natural moments. I want you to have fun, relax and forget that you’re being photographed.
Locations
Locations within 25km of Victor Harbor are included.
I regularly photograph around Victor Harbor, Port Elliot and Goolwa. If you’d like to venture further afield, including Adelaide and surrounding areas, a travel fee of up to $50 may apply.
Your gallery
You’ll receive an online gallery containing your high-resolution, downloadable images.
You’ll also receive sneak peeks within 24 hours of your session, which are immediately available to download in high resolution and without watermarks.
Your full gallery will be delivered within 3 weeks.
Client wardrobe
I have a small and slowly growing client wardrobe, including a couple of maternity dresses and some pieces for mums, as well as neutral newborn wraps and swaddles.
If you’d like to see what I currently have available, just ask! I’m always happy to send photos through before your session.
Black & white images
I don’t automatically create a black-and-white duplicate of every image in your gallery.
If you’re a big fan of black and whites, please let me know! You’ll also have the opportunity to mention this in your questionnaire so I know what you’re after.
